Its creation was prompted by the fire that ravaged Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris in 2019. The disproportionately large surface of this stone is a vast window through which the great cathedral's still-existing stained-glass rose window is clearly visible. The stained-glass window has been meticulously reproduced and is formed by 977 facets of the pavilion. Incidentally, a unique technique, previously mentioned and previously unseen in the works of other masters, was employed here. I'm not talking about trimming the edges between polished facets so that they appear matte and contrastingly emphasize the facet pattern. Rather, the intersections of these edges are decorated with tiny, also matte, triangles that merge to create the impression of smoothed, rounded corners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The number of facets in \"The Fragility of the Imperishable\" has exceeded one thousand, reaching a total of 1,154.
